Comparación de tres métodos para el aislamiento de ADN en girasol

Para obtener ADN de buena calidad en una especie en particular, frecuentemente se requiere del ensayo de diferentes métodos de aislamiento. Se compararon tres métodos de aislamiento de ADN en girasol en términos de su concentración, pureza y comportamiento electroforetico: Puregene® DNA purification kit (Gentre systems), Doyle y Doyle (1990) y Graham et al. (1994). Dos de estos métodos resultaron aceptables para aislamiento de ADN en términos de razón de absorbancia, concentración y aspecto electroforético. Se seleccionó el método Doyle y Doyle (1990) por tener un menor costo.
