A Checklist of the vascular plants from "Sierra de Parras" is presented. It included the vegetation types found in the Sierra; the microphyllous Desertic Brushwood, Rosettophyllus Desertic Brushwood are the more abundant. In the highest part Montane Low Forest is presented in small patches. The Halophytic communities are located in the alluvial. A total of 1164 taxa, which includes 702 species, 282 genera, 84 families, and 96 infraspecific categories were found. The families with the highest number of species are Asteraceae 113, Poaceae 93 and Fabaceae 55. The more common species in the study area are: Agave lechuguilla (lechuguilla) and Larrea tridentata (gobernadora). A total of 23 species have the type locality and 10 are endemic.
