Abstract

In the arid zones there are diversity of works and many of them need rehabilita tion, for what it is necessary make a study in order to desing, calculate and to see possibili ties of reconstruction. It general objetive was make a study of the conditions in which they are the small hydraulic works and to present an alternative of solution for it reconstruction of the dams, with the purpose to contribute in part to the agricultural development in arid zones, since the farmers of these areas have gran capacity for to farm part in the farm produce development of the zones. The parameters that describe the operation of the desing of the spillway device creager type was adjusted according to the maximum flood that one could present when a precipitation happens and this was obtained through the genetic method drain it which has the advantage that one could apply with rains that have happened in other zones or regions. The desing of the spillway or pouring device was developed 1974 with the equations that he present Kiciliev and the coefficients of stability were determined with the method that present Trueba. 1971; works of other authors were also considered that they are mentioned in the leterature. For the calculation of the volumes of wring, the charts of climate of the region (National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatica, 1992) were used and that it correspond 239,827.5 m3; the magnitude of the flood obtained with the genetic method of the wring is of 80.0 m3/sec.
