Abstract

Performance Index of Stopping Rules in Statistical Control of Quality. This work deals with the idea of stopping rules, an instrument used like a means of securing the quality of end products in a manu facturing process. Its main purpose is to formulate a general stopping rule, and to obtain an expression for its index of operation. This objective is reached by applying some ideas of dynamic programming that will allow an approach to the problem from an algebraic perspective.
