Abstract

  1. ABSTRACT

The objective of this assay was to study the ideas that serve as a basis for AG, and also serve to obtain both, the ACP and the ACS, like particular cases of it. Here are presented the algebraic ideas on which the General Analysis (AG) is based, since this conforms the theoretical base of some multivariate methods. It is mentioned under which circumstances the Principal Components Analysis (ACP) and the Simple Correspondence Analysis (ACS) are obtained as particular cases of the AG. An example is given for the case of the ACS.
