Una aplicación de los algoritmos genéticos en la discriminación

Abstract

An application of genetic algorithms in discrimination. In this work a technique based on genetic algorithms is presented. Such a technique produces better discriminant functions parameters estimators, in the sense that the classification errors are reduced. The technique is applied to real data, and the results are compared with the ones produced by means of the classical Fisher discriminant analysis.
