Abstract

Agriculture 4.0 is based on having all the information provided by the large number of sensors that “coexist” in an agricultural holding, being able to centralize it through the internet and allow intelligent decision-making based on said information, either in real time well delayed. We could say that it is the application of bigdata to the agricultural sector with the support of data capture and transmission systems in real time (Carbonell, 2018). The 4.0 dimension we are talking about is a dimension in which everything is connected. Everything emits data that can be captured and analyzed in a massive way. And after that analysis, the user receives the best options so as not to err in their decision. In this documentary research we will answer the questions: What is agriculture 4.0? What are the advantages and disadvantages? What is the impact on climate change? How to implement agriculture 4.0? One of the objectives of agriculture 4.0 is to feed the entire world with the least possible environmental impact. Since it became known about the deterioration of the environment by human activity, different cultivation techniques have been applied to reduce the impact on the environment. The documentary research aims to show the technologies used, the leading countries in the use of agriculture 4.0, the topics investigated and the applications of these technologies.
