Based on the geoforms of the Island Monserrat, a study of the description was carried out, distribution and revision of the status: endemics, Mexican Official Norm ECOL-059-2010 (nom) of the Semarnat and in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (cites) of the flora was carried out, for this study, vegetation belt transects as well as random sampling were established, registering a total of 114 plant, in 92 genera, and 38 families of vascu- lar plants included in six growth forms; 69 species reported are under special category, of which 34 are endemic (peninsula or islands), two are in the nom and 12 in cites list. From 66 vegetation belt transect established in the study area, Shannon-Wiener, H’ and Lloyd-Gheraldi indexes were obtained, which indicate a high diversity, resulting the gullies with the highest diversity indexes and important value indexes values and also with more species under a special category compared with other geoforms, and for instant, they can be considered as critical areas. The study of Monserrat island flora permits us to have a general knowledge of its natural resources in order to carrying out a better management, in such a way, directly in its biological conservation, to permit the continuation of the biological and process in it, under of most minimum human interference conditions.
